Manila Water Company Inc. has been included in the CDP 2025 Water A List for the second consecutive year, making it the only Philippine company to receive this recognition twice in recent years.

Securing a place on the A List places Manila Water among the top 4 percent of all companies globally assessed by CDP across its environmental disclosure categories. CDP, the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system, serves as a key reference for investors, lenders, and other stakeholders in evaluating how organizations identify and manage environmental risks, including water security.

“Manila Water’s repeat inclusion reflects its adherence to best-practice transparency and strong performance in water resource management. This recognition underscores the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen water security across its operations, including improving water supply efficiency, expanding wastewater and sanitation services, and advancing long-term watershed protection initiatives,” the company said in a press release.

“These efforts are further reinforced by strong partnerships with regulators and government agencies, enabling the coordinated implementation of water resource and environmental programs,” it added.

In addition to its Water A List achievement, Manila Water also maintained its Management-level rating for Climate, demonstrating coordinated action on climate-related issues and the consistent disclosure of climate risks, impacts, and mitigation efforts.
